A smoked in the dark offers a free bonus case

The Spooky Doorway developer has published a new free case for its game The Dark side Detective: Smoked in the Dark. The free bonus affair allows players to join the Detective Francis McQueen and officer Patrick Dooley to solve a unique holiday mystery in this free DLC called Ghosts of Christmas.

The free case will be available on PlayStation (PS4, PS5), Switch, PC and XBOX (Xbox One, Xbox Series X).

This is what Dave McCabe, writer, had to say:

Ghosts of Christmas passed is something we think we've come out the previous Christmas case, Buy Hard. This allowed us to start a little of configuration through a smoked in the Dark, something unique to our format we think is a small treat for players with eagle eyes. It has everything: characters, art, noises, words — I think we could even include a ghost?

You heard it here the first time. The free bonus case may or may not include a ghost.

If you are not already aware of what The Dark side Detective: Smoked in the Dark, let me clarify that. It's an adventure game in Pixel Art. Click on the screen and resolve puzzles to go to the bottom of your current mystery.

Unfortunately, it's not a game that I had the chance to play. I am a fan of adventure games, however, and that's part of my game list to play for some time.

It's good to know that when I start in the game, there will be even more cases to solve. A game enjoying a post-launch support, especially for free, is always a good thing.
